I’m just sitting in my office crying as I listen to you.
Selfish?! You have to be kidding. Of course YOU want to bring them home (I understand that because I would, too) but there are VERY few people, let alone couples, who would even consider this. And, being so close together in age, and so young, they need each other.
[Totally off-topic, this suddenly reminded me of how when I first started working here and my bio kids were little, I didn’t “let” them make their first confession early, thinking that would be taking advantage of my position……little did I realize until later when we decided to leave the age of first confession up to parents that NO ONE BUT ME considered making an early first confession and inestimable privilege. Joke’s on me.]
But, I think this is similar. I see those photos of the kids available for hosting and can not IMAGINE people wouldn’t be doing ANYTHING to get the privilege of hosting (and adopting) those dear little people.
I think God made mothers so that they more easily bond with their non-biological children than fathers. If you get a father to be agreeable, I think that’s about the best you can hope for, most of the time.
Exactly – if not you – who?
AND available for adoption? Wow. There goes my gaming partner. No wonder I don’t have a new picture to guess.
Kids DO need families….if only the workers didn’t treat the families as though they were mere hotel rooms.

That, AND my hubby has been stealing my Ipad! đŸ™‚
Just watched this. Your hearts are so open and loving. I know if G-d means for this to be, it will happen, and it will be awesome.
